TABLE_FROM_BLOCK built-in Package is working in Forms 6i but not in Forms 10g. is there any other built -in available instead of this. how do we populate table from a block in Forms 10g?

Please help. its urgent....

Well that function doesn't appear to exist in 10g so I can't find any documentation on what it does. So it'd help if you gave more details of what it does.

But Actually my requirement is like to find the duplicate entries in Multi record block.

OK, so do that manually (instead of via TABLE_FROM_BLOCK).

I attached a dummy form that shows how you might try to do that.

Thanks for your help...as per this form, system will find the duplicate based on the table records. But my requirement is the table has no records, I am entering in a multi record block.

So in this case how we can find out the duplicates of the current record with previous records which is till not commited?

Actually, it will find duplicates based on table records AND records you enter in a form. Did you test it? I guess you do have Scott's schema available, don't you?
