Sir,

We Were using Oracle 8i in winnt.We have created database using customized options.Our server has 1 GB of RAM with Pentium Processor.In our site Oracle instance is terminating at frequent intervals.This is due to error 472 recorded in alert file.Please find me a good solution to solve this problem.

Can you post your error messages or trace files, so we can see them? Hard to say without know what exactly you are having.
