I have a report running in SQL on Unix, the columns get truncated at the end of each line and they continue on the second...SQL set commands are fine, how do you increase the screen buffer size in Unix, or make it so that it doesn t wrap to the second line..I checked the stty syntax but couldn't find the command I want... help is greatly appreciated...

try setting

lines 255

in sqlplus - that should stop the line wrapping.

using
column {column name} format etc

will allow you to reduce the displayed width of individual columns which may help
