Hello Experts !

I would like to get some ideas from you to do my job.
I have been given the resposibilty to develop a
Purchase,Inventory and Point of Sales System
We have our head Office in on location and show Rooms in different Locations.
I have to transfer the daily tractions taken place at branches to the head office at the end of the day and
have to tranfer material movement data peroidically
between branches.

My question is how can i transfer my datas programatically ?
What is the best way i should choose ?
i'm using oracle 8i.

Thanking You.

Are u using a distributed database or local database??
For ur requirement I would suggest u to go for Remote database.
Keep ur database(server) at ur head office and
ur entry screens(front-end) at all ur show rooms.
ie. you can do ur data entry thru forms at ur any show rooms and ur data will be saved at ur server at head office.
If u will use this method then there is no need to transfer ur data to head office daily.

just try this,as I have tried and its working fine.

Any further difficulties e-contact me at bir_canada@yahoo.com.
