Hi

I am not really sure under which forum to post this. Please let me know if you think this is incorrect.

I have an Oracle procedure which uses a database link via the Oracle Transparent Gateway to access data on an Informix database. This works fine from a normal client/server application. However when I try to call the procedure from the Microsoft Transaction Server, I get the following error message :

ORA-24777: use of non-migratable database link not allowed

I am not a DBA and don't know much about that, asking our DBAs, they say that our database is NOT multi threaded, which, looking at some other stuff that I found online, could be the problem. Can anyone shed some more light on this. Is there any way that I can create the database link so that it IS migratable?

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks
Rene
