Hi,
I tried to rebuild a big index (about 12 GB). It works fine for nearly 3 hrs. Estimated time should be up to 10 hrs. But after that time it broke down with ORA-00933 - Command not properly ended. Via DBA-Studio I could see that the new named tablespace has gotten 3 - 4 new Extends, so it has worked for a while. We use Oracle 8.1.7.0 on HP/UX 11.0
I tried also to start with tracefile. Here's the result :
